Dear Parents:
The Jersey City Public Schools CASPER program is offering students in grades Pre-K through five, a fun-filled virtual program that offers physical education, mindfulness, academic enrichment, and social-emotional learning, and homework help. CASPER is offered the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Please note that your child can participate in all activities offered if desired or activities of choice.
Current CASPER Activity Schedule
Movement & Mindfulness - 3:00-3:40 pm
Story Time - 3:00-3:40 pm
Homework Help - 5:00 - 6:00 pm
As of now, the CASPER Program is free. A date has not been determined when the program fee will be implemented. Parents will be notified in advance when the program will start implementing a fee.
In order for students to attend the program virtually, parents need to complete the survey below. Once the parents complete the survey, a facilitator will contact the parent and invite the students to join their respective classes in Google Classroom. Students need to have a jcpsnj.org email account in order to be able to participate in the virtual program.
